Statement Motörcruise March 17, 2020

Dear Rock- and Music Fans

It is with a heavy heart that we feel it necessary to postpone the Motörcruise that was due to set sail in October 2021.

We here at Motörcruise see our responsibilities to our customers, our artists and our team as number one priority and we take this very serious. With the current uncertainty on developments concerning the spread of the covid-19 virus (coronavirus), the unpredictable impacts on both the tourism and cruise industry and the cancellation of an increasing number of events, limitations on public gatherings and travel restrictions, we are unable to organise the event in a manner that provides sufficient clarity and in the professional high standards we hold ourselves to.

Given the number of cancelled events that have resulted in many fans or artists either dependent on refunds, losing money or awaiting rescheduled dates, we feel it is important to manage expectations now and postpone the event before any customer bookings are taken to avoid a risk of any further financial loss or uncertainty.

When greater clarity is possible, mayhem on the high seas will return and Motörcruise will begin planning a cruise for 2022 when we will be able to complete the required preparations and discussions without travel limitations or risk of quarantine restrictions.

Rockin’ Greetings & stay healthy
